At 56,I'm regarded a classically handsome black man(a lot of the local Windsor,Ont.,Can. ladies believe I resemble a handsome black cowboy,and at a brawny 5'9'',214 lb.,rodeo fans would realize that I'm built like a steer wrestler or "bull-dogger," the event pioneered by African-American cowboy legend Bill Pickett),and I'm about to launch a Country singer/song-writer career,but I've long harboured acting ambitions. Two questions.First,since I wish to re-locate to Los Angeles in 2011 or '12,could you give me some contact information about some people from casting agents to talent agents to producers and directors I should meet who can help me get my acting career started. Second,as there's a dearth of roles for classically handsome,non-urban-looking or -speaking older black men,and I'm in the process of writing a book and,upon its completion,pitching it to indie Hollywood producers,one of whom may be in- terested enough to turn it into a screen play with Yours Truly as the lead character,could you advise on the best methods of meeting and sel- ling my idea to one of these industry big-wigs?
