Corey Haim
FILMOGRAPHY (ONLY REVIEWED ENTRIES)
This once precocious, sensitive juvenile performer first caught my attention with his delightful title role in David Seltzer's Lucas (1986). From then on, Haim slowly grew into a small superstardom as the cute kid every little girl would fall in love with. Most of his roles in the late '80s and early '90s were dim-witted, senseless action-comedies, but he did still once in a while turn in a fine performance in which his not unconsiderable dramatic talent was displayed (such as in Oh, What a Night). However, after growing out of the youth-roles, Haim has had trouble finding work in the film business, and in the late 1990s he had to file for bankrupcy after collecting debts over $100,000. Haim currently resides in his native Toronto and does very little acting.
