Review

Charming, funny and often effective coming-off-age flick set in Norwegian suburbia. There are a lot of first timers present here, something that at times becomes a bit too evident. None of the leading actors are particularly gifted dramatically, but they deliver a few well-written scenes effectively, and Mehran Iqbal (who has the by far most thankful role) is charismatic and a comedic talent. Director Ove Raymond Gyldenås pins down a few intriguing truths about teenage life, but is way too ambitious on behalf of his film and ultimately stuffs it to the breaking point.
