Review

Cute little mystery thriller that initially uses most of the well-known horror tricks, but comes off in the end quite effective, egocentric and unorthodox. Gena Rowlands is superb in the heaviest role (albeit not the lead) and her powerful performance soon commands the film down the path of success. John Hurt does an impressive job with a very restricted part and Kate Hudson is industrious in the lead.
