Ratatouille (2007)
Pixar Entertainment and Brad Bird follow up their success The Incredibles with this good-natured and thoroughly enjoyable film about human-like rats, gourmet food and some recognizably hostile egomaniacs. The animations are as brilliant as anything in this genre, something that must be said to apply even more to the dynamic movements than the designs. There are a few somewhat too familiar elements, including a segment shamelessly borrowed from Disney's Cindererlla, but the effect is undisputable with Brad Bird being able to deliver most ingredients, including something for all ages and a handful of good laughs.
