Bundy: A Legacy of Evil (2008)
As with many accounts on serial killers over the past few years, this film about the notorious Ted Bundy suffers from inadequate acting (especially from the seemingly talentless Jen Nikolaisen) and below par production values, giving the film the feel of a cheap television production. The writer/director is called Michael Feifer, and he brings very little to his film. There is no real agenda here, other than to present the most important events of Ted Bundy's life, and that is exactly why the many inaccuracies is so disappointing. For people who are familiar with Ted Bundy, the movie will be either somewhat boring or at times annoying. The film's best asset is Corin Nemec in the title role. He combines portions of expressive, telling acting with hints of caricature (especially in the unconvincing trial scene). All in all a mediocre film which isn't really able to recreate neither the atmosphere nor manner of Ted Bundy’s life and times.
