Best Laid Plans (1999)
A regular, low-key thriller without the
excessive and silly plot-twists but also without the most interesting of
premises. There aren't many questions raised here that haven't been both
raised and answered times before, but with that said, Best Laid Plans
is a thoroughly conducted, fairly well-played and relatively suspenseful
film. The direction by Mike Barker is almost invisible - it would've
profited from more colour and imagination.
